Multi layered insulation was used, an air gap has to be left both sides to allow the insulation to work correctly
The first pieces of plaster board were fitted to allow the steels for enclosing the chimney to be fitted.
The opening cut through was steeled around and then back filled with a lime mix.
The mix was left to harden and the the board raised to allow the next level to be filled.
The snow fell with a vengeance today 23 Jan 2007 about 5cm this morning and about 10cm at 14:00hours,
